Mark Scott, President & Founder
As President and Founder of The Utility Company, Mark is responsible for strategy, supporting sales and marketing, and is the architect of the company’s business plan. As a serial entrepreneur, Mark has launched three successful businesses over the past fifteen years focused on B2B services to the small and medium-sized business market. From 2000 to early 2006, Mark was President, CEO and co-founder of N-able Technologies®, and pioneered the concept of providing the technology channel with the software and training to deliver managed IT services. Prior to this, Mark was a partner in Scott & Company Chartered Accountants, a mid-size public accounting and consulting firm, where he specialized in business process re-engineering and corporate finance for technology companies.
Mark is a chartered accountant and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Finance and Economics. He has presented at numerous events on cloud computing, managed IT services and franchising and has written various articles and white papers on the topics. Mark was nominated as 2006 Next Generation Executive of the Year by the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation and named one of the Top 25 Newsmakers by Computer Dealer News. He currently serves on the Board of the MSPAlliance™.

Janice Siddons, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Janice is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all departments at The Utility Company (TUC). In addition, she has direct responsibility for finance, operations and compliance. Janice also oversees TUC’s inter-department franchise development process from orientation to sales-readiness to service delivery and ongoing customer maintenance. She is a key contributor to the Utility Business System franchise operations manual and Utility University training program.
Janice has been a key member of the TUC management team since its inception. Previously, Janice was an executive at N-able Technologies in various roles including VP & GM and VP Channel, where she managed their global channel team, including partner development, channel sales, solutions architects and support services. Janice was named to the elite club of Channel Chiefs by CRN, a leading trade publication recognized as the Top 50 most influential channel executives. Janice is a graduate in Financial Management from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. |

James Channer, VP of Franchise Development
James leads all franchise development at The Utility Company (TUC), working closely with prospective franchisees - taking them through a formal discovery process to determine if our Beyond Managed Services franchise opportunity fits their business and personal objectives.
He also focuses on enhancing TUC’s franchise broker relationships in North America, organic recruitment strategies, candidate profiling, international expansion, and existing franchisee support and motivation.
James is a well-known franchise-industry veteran with over 11 years of international franchise development for some of today’s leading franchise systems including, most recently, Tutor Doctor. He also worked as an Independent Franchise Consultant for several years - giving him insight into all sides of the Franchise recruitment & development opportunity.

Jason Creally, VP of Business Development - MSPXchange
Jason’s primary role is seeking out target acquisitions of micro-MSPs in identified markets and taking them through a formal M&A process in both corporate and franchise locations. In addition, Jason is tasked with creating awareness for MSPXchange throughout the MSP industry through social media, marketing campaigns, micro-MSP user groups and tradeshows.
Prior to MSPXchange, Jason led all franchise recruitment at The Utility Company (TUC) since inception. In addition, Jason was the key point of contact for TUC’s Affinity Program, developing preferred supplier relationships with leading national and regional industry associations, such as The Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Creally has over 13 years of software and services sales experience primarily in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) space, including as channel manager at N-able Technologies®. He has presented at numerous tradeshows and events across North America on managed services and franchising. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.

Aaron Bradley, Director of Marketing
Aaron is responsible for vision & execution of the company's aggressive marketing programs, web strategy and brand development. He headlines marketing efforts on both the Beyond Managed Services franchise opportunities side and the Connected Office (end-user focused) service offerings. He also works directly with our partners on direct and indirect campaigning & outreach efforts.
Prior to joining Utility, Aaron was Marketing Manager at mid-market Managed Service Provider where he also supported the marketing efforts of several multinational channel partners like IBM, G.E., Sprint, etc. Aaron brings a unique, entrepreneurial background to the team which includes over 14 years experience in high-tech marketing & brand management in the Ottawa area. A graduate of Carleton University's School of Commerce, Aaron has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Marketing.

Shervin Tavvafi, Director of Technology Services
Shervin is responsible for the delivery of our Connected Office managed services and cloud computing products to The Utility Company's valued customers across North America. He also oversees our Network Operations Center and the management of our customer-praised 1-866-My-Utility LIVE Helpdesk team. In addition, Shervin is the key contact with our vendor partners to ensure we bring the most comprehensive and innovative technology service and support to small and medium-sized businesses.
Shervin holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA and MCSE) and has extensive knowledge and experience in MS Windows, Novell Netware and UNIX server operating systems. For over 15 years, Shervin has experience delivering technology planning, design and implementation, along with the remote management of networks, desktops and security through service organizations like Sitel and Convergys.

Shann Bosnell, Director of Channel and Product Management
Shann is responsible for our Connected Office service program sales through our franchise network across North America. This includes managing our Channel Support Team of inside sales representatives that work on integrated sales campaigns with our franchisees, including the delivery of daily sales presentations and demonstrations, customer proposals and pipeline management. He works closely with our sales-ready franchisees in order to execute on their specific go-to-market strategy locally in conjunction with national sales efforts and affinity partnerships.
With over 18 years of management experience ranging from Retail, Not for Profit, Technology and Business to Business outbound lead generation, Shann brings a diverse combination of technology and sales-related management backgrounds. His experiences have led him to work as a vendor, as well as a vendor manager and have given him the insight to view all engagements with a philosophy of ensuring a benefit for both clients and the company. Prior to joining The Utility Company, Shann has been responsible for directing sales teams from 2 to 400, including being Director of Call Center Operations at OnPath Business Solutions.
